Seeing is Believing: Portraits of the Father in the Gospel of John – What kind of Father do we see in the book of John?  In John’s gospel Jesus reveals himself and the Father in a series of extended portraits.  Each portrait shows us a different aspect of the Father.  John paints these portraits so that we might believe, and by believing have life.
